Cottage Pie
Turn a hearty staple into a family feast by adding a Knorr Mixed Herb Flavour Pot to the minced meat filling for a scrumptious and flavoursome cottage pie.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 500g lean minced beef
- 2 tablespoons tomato puree
- 30g flour
- 400ml Knorr Beef Stock
- 1 Knorr Mixed Herb Flavour Pot
- 800g mashed potato
- 20g Flora Buttery
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 200 °C/190 °C fan/ Gas mark 6.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan over a moderate heat and fry the onion and the mince together until browned.
- Add tomato puree and flour and stir through.
- Add the stock whilst stirring and bring back to the boil, cook for 2 minutes or until thickened, stir through the Knorr Mixed Herb Flavour Pot.
- Pour into a suitable casserole dish, and top with mashed potato, dot with the Buttery.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
