Quick and Easy Spaghetti Carbonara
Rich and smoky, this traditional Italian dish, that’s made with bacon, cream and a Knorr Garlic Flavour Pot, creates a beautiful combination of flavours.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 150g unsmoked bacon, cut into small strips
- 100ml Elmlea Double
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 Knorr Garlic Flavour Pot
- 300g spaghetti (or your favorite pasta)
- 50g Parmesan cheese, grated
Method
- Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan. Add the bacon and fry until it is golden.
- In a separate bowl lightly stir the Elmlea, egg yolks and the Knorr Garlic Flavour Pot together.
- Cook pasta according to pack instructions, drain thoroughly, return to saucepan.
- Stir cream mixture through pasta to lightly cook, serve with the bacon and Parmesan cheese sprinkled over the top.
