Boost the taste of your pork casserole with our flavoursome blend of herbs and spices. Slow-cooked and bubbling with flavour, this will soon become a family favourite.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 450g lean pork, cubed
  • 1 packet Knorr Mealmaker for Pork Casserole
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 425ml water

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC, 170°C fan assisted, Gas mark 4.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions until golden. Add the pork and fry until browned.
  • Place the onions, pork, carrots and pepper in a casserole dish. Blend the contents of the sachet with the water and add to the dish.
  • Cover and cook in the oven for 1 1/2 hours or until pork is tender. Delicious with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables of your choice.
