Devilled Eggs are a fantastic Easter picnic treat that will have everyone reaching for more. They’re incredibly easy to make – and you can even try putting your own twist on them with variations on the classic filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Knorr Vegetable Stock Cube
  • 12 eggs, hard boiled and shelled
  • 2 tsps Dijon mustard
  • 100ml Hellmann's Real mayonnaise
  • 1tbsp finely chopped chives
  • 1tbsp finely chopped parsley or dill
  • A dash of ground pepper
  • 1 spring onion, sliced

Method

  • Blend the olive oil with the cube and make into a paste.
  • Cut the eggs in half, carefully remove the yolks.
  • Mash up the yolks with mustard, mayonnaise and paste, then add chives, parsley and pepper. Mix well.
  • Spoon the mixture into the egg white halves. Decorate with the spring onion.
