Fish Bake
This filling fish bake is simple to prepare, and can be made with a mix of fish varieties. The addition of a Knorr Fish Stock Cube really helps to release the natural flavours of your ingredients – and the white sauce is also made easy, thanks to the addition of Knorr White or Bechamel sauce.

Ingredients
- 3tbsps milk
- 1tsp butter
- 750g potatoes, cooked and mashed with the milk and butter
- 2 medium salmon fillets, cubed
- 250g cod (or haddock, tilapia) fillet, cubed
- 1 Knorr Fish or Vegetable Stock Cube for cooking fish
- 100g green peas (defrosted if using frozen)
- 2 medium carrots cooked al dente and sliced
- 1 packet of Knorr White or Bechamel Sauce (250ml liquid)
- Chopped parsley or dill, chives
Method
- Boil the potatoes, drain, and mash with milk and butter.
- Cook the salmon and cod in a stock made from Knorr Fish Stock Cube for 5 minutes. Add peas, carrots, white sauce and herbs and cook gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Transfer to ovenproof casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and serve with a hearty salad.
