Tuna Pasta Bake
This is a great family meal that’s really quick to prepare and cook. Nothing quite beats pushing your fork through the slightly crisp, golden-brown cheese before reaching the succulent tuna and pasta beneath. A firm family favourite.

Ingredients
- 300g dried pasta bows
- 25g butter
- 25g plain flour
- 300ml semi-skimmed milk
- 200ml water
- 1 Knorr Vegetable Stock Pot
- 2 x 300g tin of tuna (drained)
- 1 small tin of sweetcorn (drained)
- 100g grated Cheddar cheese
- 4tsps basil pesto
Method
- Cook the pasta as instructed on the pack.
- To make the sauce, melt the butter and add the flour stirring to make a roux. Mix the milk and water together and add slowly to make a smooth sauce.
- Add the Knorr Vegetable Stock Pot to the sauce so it melts and simmer the sauce for 2 minutes stirring so it does not catch.
- Add the tuna, sweetcorn and pasta and mix together.
- Place in an ovenproof dish top with the grated cheese and dollop the pesto over the top.
- Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
