Beef Curry
This Beef Curry isn’t too spicy and makes a lovely warming winter meal. And because it takes a couple of hours to cook, it means you can get on with other things once you’ve got it going. Serve with Basmati rice or Naan bread for an authentic twist.

Ingredients
- 1tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2tbsps medium curry powder
- 600g diced stewing beef
- 1 green and yellow pepper, sliced
- 300g diced potatoes
- 400ml water
- 400g can chopped tomatoes
- 1 Knorr Beef Stock Cube
- 50ml yoghurt
- Fresh herbs to garnish
Method
- Heat the oil in a large pan, then fry the oil and the curry powder for 2 minutes. Add the beef until it's browned.
- Add the peppers, potatoes, and stir.
- Cover with the water, tomatoes and add the Knorr Stock Cube. Bring to the boil, turn down the heat and simmer with a lid on for 2–3 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and fresh herbs.
