Breaded Chicken
Breaded Chicken is always a favourite with kids but the Knorr Stock Cube paste in this recipe will appeal to adults too – giving the chicken an extra boost of flavour. Serve with French Fries or a mixed salad.

Ingredients
- 8 pieces of chicken, skin removed
- 1tbsp oil
- 1 Knorr Chicken Stock Cube
- 150g breadcrumbs
- 1tsp sweet paprika
- 2tsp mixed herbs
- 2 eggs beaten
- 50g flour
- Spray vegetable oil
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 190°C, 170°C fan, Gas Mark 5.
- Mix the oil with the Knorr Stock Cube to make a paste. Toss the chicken in the paste to cover evenly.
- Season the breadcrumbs by mixing together with the paprika and mixed herbs.
- Take three shallow pie dishes or deep plates: line one with the flour, one with beaten egg, and one with seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Grease, generously, a flat baking sheet with the spray vegetable oil.
- Dip the chicken first into flour, shaking off any excess. Then dip it into the egg, shaking off any excess. Finally, dip it into the seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Lay the breaded chicken on the greased baking sheet. Spray each piece of chicken with the oil spray.
- Then bake for 35–40 minutes or until the chicken is cooked and the juices run clear. Cooking time depends on the size of the chicken pieces.
