Simple Shepherd's Pie
Rustle up a family feast with minced lamb, onion and carrots and a Knorr Mealmaker. You can mix things up by sprinkling grated cheddar on top, by adding paprika and chilli to the potato mash or by making sweet potato mash instead. Serve with steamed greens and dig in.

Ingredients
- 450g lean minced beef
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 75g chopped mushrooms
- 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 packet Knorr Mealmaker Shepherd's pie
- 300ml water
- 700g mashed potato
Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5.
- Stir fry the onion in the oil, add the mushrooms and fry until soft, add the minced meat and continue to fry until brown.
- Mix the contents of this pack with the water and add to pan, bring to the boil, then simmer covered for 10 minutes.
- Stir in the ketchup, pour into an oven proof dish. Cover with mashed potato and cook in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
- RECIPE HINT: Add 100g peas and 2 chopped carrots to the pan when adding the pack contents, for even more colour and flavour.
