Simple Chicken Casserole
There’s nothing like a chicken casserole bubbling away in the oven to make your mouth water. Our Mealmaker pour-over mixture brings out the best in your key ingredients, and reduces down to a thick, flavoursome sauce that will moisten mash, rice or new potatoes for a warming treat.

Ingredients
- 4 skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 thinly sliced carrots
- 1 diced potato
- 1 packet of Knorr Mealmaker Chicken Casserole
- 400ml water
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Stir fry chicken fillets in a little oil to brown slightly, transfer to a casserole dish. Fry the onion until golden.
- Scatter the onion, carrots and potato over the chicken. Mix the contents of this pack with the water and pour into dish.
- Cover and cook for 1½ hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
- RECIPE HINT: Fry 3-4 chopped rashers with the onions for extra flavour. Add a chopped pepper to the casserole dish with the water for a burst of colour.
