Ingredients

  • 1tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions - chopped
  • 450g leam minced beef
  • 400g tin red kidney beans
  • 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 150ml water
  • 1 packet Knorr Mealmaker Chilli con Carne

Method

  • Stir fry the onion in a little oil until soft, add the minced beef anf fry until browned through, drain off excess fat.
  • Mix the contents of the packet with the water, and add to the pan, add the tomatoes and kidney beans and bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes until thoroughly cooked. Ensure piping hot and serve immediately with rice.
  • RECIPE HINT: Serve with rice, sour cream and tortilla chips
