Penne Pasta
Leftovers to use up? Bring everything together in a creamy pasta bake with our Thick Chicken Soup as a cooking sauce. Fry chicken, handfuls of veg, bacon bits – you name it – then place in an oven dish, pour on the soup, bake till bubbling and serve with green salad. And there it is, a family feast.

Ingredients
- 1 sachet of Knorr Thick Chicken Soup
- 300g penne pasta
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3-4 small sliced chicken breast fillets
- 2 rindless bacon rashers sliced
- 1 small chopped onion
- 1 small tin of sweetcorn (drained)
- 150g frozen peas
- 175ml low fat milk
- 250ml water
Method
- Cook pasta following pack directions; drain and keep warm.
- In a measuring jug, mix milk, water and a Knorr Thick Chicken Soup pack contents.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in saucepan and brown chicken, bacon and onions for 10 minutes until just cooked.
- Add sweetcorn, peas and the Knorr Thick Chicken Soup, bring to boil, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the drained pasta and toss thoroughly to reheat.
